Bike storage and tenement life
Starting a new topic, with the thought that it might gradually accumulate some good ideas for the struggling tenement-dwelling cycle user (or maybe-user).
Prompted by meeting a lady from South Seeds , a community/environmental group. Besides other good stuff they can do a bike storage audit for tenement dwellers - someone will visit and find good places for different kinds of bike hook-y things.
They have a handyperson service as well, not free, but reasonable and vouched for, so if someone's not totally confident about their rawlplugging skills for hanging a bike from a wall or ceiling, that's covered as well.
Their remit is for Govanhill and adjoining areas (shop in Victoria Rd, opposite the Bike (Station) for Good).
There was a previous thread promoting the use of a stair hook: https://citycyclingglasgow.com/topic/41/tenement-stairwell-friendly-bike-storage
